Pupils’ winning designs become their schools’ Olympic flag!

As part of the EMAT torch relay this week, the winners were announced in the competition to design each school’s Olympic flag. 

  • The winning design for Castle Academy was created by Martyna Cieplinska and Viktoria Godalova in Year 5. 
  • The winning design for Hardingstone Academy was created by Demi Robinson-Doran in Year 5. 
  • The winning design for Northampton International Academy was created by Lukas Zekthi in Year 5. 
  • The winning design for Orchard Academy was created by Hollie Hedges in Year 5. 
  • The winning design for Prince William School was created by Romilly Tarry in Year 7. 
  • The winning design for Shepherdswell Academy was created by Sarah Khalil in Year 2. 
  • The winning design for Stimpson Avenue Academy was created by Asma Osman in Year 4. 

The winning designs for each school’s flag were chosen by GB Olympian chair and bronze medal-winning sprinter Joslyn Hoyte-Smith and have been printed ready to be used to cheer on their school team during the Ability Games next week and Olympic Day on Wednesday 26th June.
