The OPEN Learning Partnership
Towards the end of the academic year in 2018, the Oundle, Peterborough and East Northants Learning Partnership (OPEN LP) was established between local maintained and independent schools based in the geographical area.
Our aims are simple:
- To offer opportunity and experience that individual schools could not offer alone, allowing pupils to work with, and be challenged by, others of similar ability or interest.
- To raise aspirations and outcomes for all pupils considering their prior attainments, interests and backgrounds.
- To share resources and best practice am0ng staff through dialogue and engagement which allows the development of leadership and expertise across both sectors and phases.
Significant successes in the partnership over the past five years include:
- Continual Professional Development teachers with well-known educationalists
- Preparation and support for students applying for medicine/Oxbridge
